Broadway Bound Musical Theater Experience

Now in its 17th year!

This two-week program is for boys and girls ages 8  to 15 and gives your child the opportunity to experience every aspect of staging a musical with onstage and backstage roles for everyone – singing, dancing, acting, creating sets, and assembling costumes – all in just 10 days! These shows are abridged, fully-licensed presentations.

Students must be 8 years old by the first day of the program to be eligible for enrollment. Payment is due at the time of registration, which may be done online, by phone (860-767-0026), or in person (90 Main Street, Centerbrook).  Registration is complete when payment is received in full and it is verified that your CMS account is in good standing.

Participants will receive by mail a packet including all necessary forms and describing the lead and supporting role auditions and role-assignment process, what to bring, etc. ONLY THOSE STUDENTS  WITH A  COMPLETED  REGISTRATION WILL BE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN AUDITIONS. Students must commit to and attend the full 2 weeks of the program.  A $25 penalty for cancellations received prior to June 16th will be assessed. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for cancellations received after June 16th. A limited number of scholarships are available.

July 10 – 21: Broadway Bound East, “The Lion King Jr.” directed by Shari Wilcox @ Valley Regional High School

The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. Tuition includes t-shirt and cast pizza lunch on 7/21.

July 24 – Aug 4: Broadway Bound West “The Addams Family young@part” directed by Joni Gage  @ Westbrook High School

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents. Tuition includes t-shirt and cast pizza lunch on 8/4.
