Community Music School is the shoreline’s premier place for music lessons and much more! Founded as a non-profit arts organization in the Centerbrook village of Essex, CMS has provided outstanding and innovative music instruction for students of all ages since 1983. We offer the award-winning Kindermusik early childhood program, beginner and advanced lessons, performing ensembles for a variety of instruments, music therapy services, summer camp, and arts programs for schools and community organizations.
